Honoring the Past Before Moving Forward - Wild Rose Acres Project #1 Progress (w/ Before&After Photos)

It is so satisfying to work the earth with your own two hands. I experienced this yesterday while spending the day in my grandmother’s garden, ripping out weeds and delicately replanting flowers. To see such an intense before and after difference made the hours of hard work well worth it.

I began working with vigor at 9:00 AM and managed to clear a small patch by 11:00.

After a quick break for lunch, I kept planting and replanting while wiping the sweat from my brow.

Finally, by 3:00 in the afternoon I decided to call it quits. I stood back to appreciate the intense reformation.

Even after many hours of work, I only managed to make my way ONE SIXTH of the way through the garden. As you can see the back of the final photo, there is much more land to cultivate so this project will take much longer than I originally anticipated. But that’s okay! I’m willing to put in the effort if you are willing to come along for the ride and continue to support me.

So that means… I worked for 5.5 hours (not including breaks) so in order for my followers to “win,” my challenge post must raise at least $11.00 in SBD rewards by payout! However, I will also include the SBD reward of this article as well. So far, we are at 1.57 for potential payout! Please keep upvoting if you enjoyed watching the garden’s progress!
