This week's #homesteadphotography challenge by @knowledge-seeker asks for a landscape photograph of our homestead.

I decided to share a photo that represents our beginnings as homesteaders. We spent a lot of years dreaming about and searching for a place where we belonged. This is where we have chosen to set down our roots and build our life, this is our homestead.
