The Resident Evil movies have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I always found them thoroughly entertaining in a way that only a polished bad movie can be.
The final movie in the series is a bit of a disappointment. There is just something missing, almost as if they have suddenly decided to take themselves way too seriously. The action sequences, while still impressive, lack a certain immediacy, and the movie really adds nothing to the series.
Overall, I am glad it was the last one.
