And I felt it was time for a new move.
So a new Steemit account was birthed @humansofsteemit

From the actual posts to updates about the project to introducing the people behind the project.

UPDATES
There are a few changes happening internally regarding Humans Of Steemit
Things like change of e-mail addresses…. Boring changes that the HOS audience doesn’t need to know about!
BUT
One thing I do want to announce is that before I used to give all the SBD generated from a post to the Human who participated.
BUT really this doesn’t work.
Because I’ve got people helping me on this project and I want to reward them financially for helping me out!
So I’ve decided to give 50% of the SBD to the participants.
This gives a little liquidity to the account so that I can give the Humans Of Steemit Ambassadors, a little gift now and then!
Because even though you might not notice it, there are people ACTIVELY helping me out through marketing, telling people and also one very significant individual (@deadsparrow) does the formatting and editing of all the posts!
I will also introduce these peeps in posts!
This is OBVIOUSLY a PERFECT opportunity to tell open up the floor to ANYONE and EVERYONE who would like to give a helping hand in making Humans Of Steemit an integral part of The Steemiverse to step forward!
If you don’t understand what I am saying, let me say it mega clear for you!

I’ve had people talk to me about strategizing the whole Humans Of Steemit process and how I can make even money out of this project for myself.
And also telling me I should ONLY target whales to give it more BANG.
I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS.
Humans Of Steemit is for EVERYONE!
It is not the whales who make this community the place it is.
It is ALL of us.
Humans Of Steemit is an OPEN platform to EVERYONE who is part of Steemit and I will in NO way ONLY focus on whales/dolphins OR refuse a participant based on their place in the Steemit chain.
NO.
This is not a money based project.
This is a social-involvement project for the good of the humans.
I’d like to clear something up about my own intention towards Humans Of Steemit.
I did not create Humans Of Steemit to get extra exposure, new followers, more upvotes or more money!
I created it because I am interested in people.
Always have been.
Always will.
And sure yes I do get more exposure, followers and upvotes. But that is a consequence of it.
It is not the goal.
Not at all.
For now, I am SO happy to give this project it’s own platform and to give it even more attention and effort to grow into something really positive and meaningful for the community.
And I am happy to be giving something back to The Steemiverse!
