Last week, Helene wrote a post about a method of drawing watercolor tree, and held a contest. Today is the first day of Autumn in Lunar calendar. So I draw a Maple. And, here we go!
上星期Helene寫了一個水彩畫樹的小方法，也舉辦了一個比賽～今天是立秋，所以來畫個紅葉吧！開始囉！

過程Process
Splash the dots to make the leaves. By flat brush and pen.
用平頭畫筆搞原子筆，酒上樹葉
Imagination pic 補上示意圖
And then, manually draw the thicker part of leaves. 然後人工點上比較厚的部份
Adding the shadow. 再用力加陰影
Add more splash on the ground for falling leaves. Finish! 再洒多些在地上成為落葉，完成了:D
You see, it is a cool way to draw a moody watercolor tree.
這樣就完成了一棵紅葉了，有沒有這麼簡單？！
In fact, I drew twice. Everything needs practice.
其實我也畫了兩張練習...
The left one is the first drawing. The control of water failed, made it a mess. (although color gradient and mixing is one of the characteristic of watercolor, here is not performing well)
The right is second drawing. Start to familiar with the splash method, but the shape is weird.
左邊是第一張。不習慣這個畫法，弄得中間很尷尬（混色是水彩的特色，但這裡明顯不配合）
右邊是第二張，比較習慣了，但樹的形狀沒有掌握跟研究好，所以基本功夫和資料搜集是少不得的。
Let's draw together :D 其實也沒有很嚴重喇，畫得愉快是最重要的！
