Joe Morrissey elected to the Senate by Democrats though he has a full rap sheet.

Here is a timeline from Richmond dot com link found in sources below.

Morrissey has been grabbing headlines since he was elected Richmond commonwealth’s attorney in 1989. Here's a history.

July 1990: Virginia State Bar orders Morrissey to attend an ethics course after a former client complains that a personal injury suit was mishandled.

September 1990: Virginia State Bar committee clears Morrissey of seven allegations that he says concerned his conduct as a defense lawyer and commonwealth’s attorney-elect.

July 1991: He is convicted of contempt in Richmond General District Court, fined $50 and sentenced to 10 days in jail after writing a critical letter to a substitute judge.

December 1991: Morrissey gets into a courthouse fistfight with defense attorney David P. Baugh. He later serves five days in jail for contempt of court.

June 1993: Morrissey is indicted on five felony charges, including bribery, perjury and misuse of public funds, four days before the primary for the Democratic nomination for commonwealth’s attorney. He is defeated in the primary by attorney David M. Hicks, who wins the seat in November. After the primary, Morrissey is suspended —– and reinstated — from the prosecutor’s office several times.

August 1993: A jury acquits Morrissey of the three bribery charges, and the other two charges are ultimately dismissed.

December 1993: Morrissey’s law license is suspended for six months when a three-judge panel rules he violated legal ethics with his handling of a rape case.

February 1998: A U.S. District judge sentences Morrissey to 90 days in jail and suspends him from practicing in federal court for two years for breaking court rules by talking to reporters about a drug case.

October 1999: A jury convicts Morrissey of assault and battery and fines him $2,500 for beating Garien H. Wycoff in a Richmond backyard July 3. One week later, Wycoff files a lawsuit against Morrissey for $1.3 million.

November 1999: Morrissey files a lawsuit against Wycoff, Ann Marie Wycoff and Johanna Wycoff, alleging they conspired to damage Morrissey’s professional reputation by lying about him in court. Morrissey drops the lawsuit in January 2001.

February 2000: Federal prosecutors accuse Morrissey, a defense attorney at the time, of trying to fake completion of community service hours, which were part of his 1998 U.S. District Court sentence for contempt of court.

March 2000: A three-judge panel for the State Bar suspends Morrissey from practicing law for three years. The judges find that he violated disciplinary rules for lawyers in the Virginia Code of Professional Responsibility.

September 2000: A federal judge orders Morrissey jailed for 90 days for violating probation on his 1998 contempt conviction. In August 2000, the judge convicted Morrissey of violating his probation. The judge determined that Morrissey lied when he denied attempting to bribe a Habitat for Humanity construction supervisor to falsely state that Morrissey had completed his community service.

December 2001: A panel of U.S. District Court judges bars Morrissey from practicing law in federal court due to his frequent episodes of unethical and disobedient conduct.

Spring 2006: Morrissey returns to Richmond after teaching and studying in Dublin, Ireland, in 2001 and teaching trial advocacy to prosecutors in Sydney, Australia, in 2003. He is denied admittance to the Australian bar.

April 2012: The Virginia Supreme Court reinstates Morrissey’s law license. The court votes 4-3, despite the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board’s unanimous recommendation against Morrissey’s petition.

June 2014: Morrissey is indicted by a special grand jury in Henrico on four felony counts and a misdemeanor charging him with sexually abusing a minor over whom he had a custodial relationship - a receptionist in his law office. Those charges carried up to 41 years in prison.

December 2014: Morrissey enters an Alford plea to a single misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and is sentenced to 12 months in jail, with six months suspended. By entering an Alford plea, Morrissey does not admit wrongdoing but acknowledges that the prosecution had enough evidence to convict him. He served three months, spending nights in jail while representing his district in the legislature during the day.

January 2015: Morrissey is charged by a grand jury with felony charges of perjury, uttering a forged document, conspiracy and inducing false testimony.

April 2015: A circuit court judge in Henrico dismisses the January 2015 charges, ruling that the December 2014 plea agreement precluded new perjury-related counts.

September 2015: After an appeal by a special prosecutor, the Virginia Court of Appeals upholds the dismissal of four felony charges.

According to News 6

"I'm a mom. I have a 26-year-old daughter. And I just can't imagine had this been her at 17 with her employer," said Mosby.

Here's a portion of that radio ad:

"Joe's the 57-year-old boss who claimed innocence but took an Alford plea for having sex with his employee -- a 17-year-old black girl -- then lied about it to keep himself out of jail."

"Right now, when you look at these polls Joe Morrissey is winning in Black communities. And I don't know if our black communities are really understanding whether he's really worked for us or he's capitalized off of us," said Mosby.

A plea where he tried to Lie his way out but all the evidence is in the plea agreement in the court documents linked in sources.

This found in Blue Virginia,

I’m with Democratic super-activist Cindy Cunningham on this one (see her post, below):

“…if you were mad/embarrassed/stunned that convicted pedophile Joe Morrissey won the Democratic primary against incumbent state senator Roslyn Dance, you might want to look into his former legislative aide who filed to run as an Independent on Primary Day. People often ask how bad would the Democrat have to be before you’d vote for the Republican candidate, and for me, Morrissey would be it. (Aside from the pedophile/child porn conviction, he’s got a rap sheet longer than my arm.) Let’s get behind Door #3!”

So who’s behind Door #3? See below and also here: the man’s name is Waylin Ross, and while I don’t know much about him, other than what I’ve posted below, basically my attitude is that almost anyone has got to better than Joe Morrissey (for more on why I say this, see here; plus, note that Morrissey now claims to be “pro-life,” aka against a woman’s right to choose). Fortunately, from what I’ve found out so far, Ross is intriguing:

So Some people Were discussing. Who made sure it turned out in the favor of a Pedophile?

Morrissey had other children prior to impregnating the teen he groomed.

Screen Shot 2019-11-13 at 1.27.42 PM.png

So after the baby was born, after the court documents showed the text messaging proving he had engaged in adult sexual contact when she was 17, After he was caught, he married her.

So he used the Wedding as another Big Campaign Ad! These deceivers have Zero boundaries! They Literally Show you who they are and Dems just turn a Blind Eye!

According to the Richmond Free Press,

Mr. Morrissey’s run for mayor was visible to all wedding guests with several big campaign signs with his oversized photo posted along Osborne Turnpike on the route to the farm in Varina. Closer to the farm were several smaller signs with wedding messages: “Forever begins today.”

The couple’s path to the altar has had many twists and turns. They met when Miss Warren was 17 and Mr. Morrissey hired her as an intern at his law office. Within a month, the estranged father of the intern, Coleman Pride, along with her sisters, was calling for the arrest and prosecution of Mr. Morrissey for having sex with the underage teen, who was known at the time as Myrna Pride. She dropped her father’s surname and adopted that of her supportive mother, Deidre Warren.

So the mom was heralded and praised over the protective father and siblings. Interesting for a party that promotes getting the father's out of the homes by promising more aide to single moms. Sad.

Within a year, Mr. Morrissey was facing felony charges, despite assertions by him and the young woman that the charges were trumped up. Given Mr. Morrissey’s status as a state legislator at the time, the scandal took on a life of its own.

Facing a long term in prison if convicted, Mr. Morrissey accepted an Alford plea in which he denied guilt but acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The misdemeanor, for which he received a sixth-month jail sentence in December 2014, saved his law license.

The groom resigned his legislative seat, then won a special election to regain the seat to the dismay of General Assembly leaders.

Able to continue to serve in the House of Delegates while on work release, he became the first member of the legislature to be on the floor of the House and sleeping in the jail for three months. Like others in jail, he only had to serve half the sentence based on good behavior.

After jail, Mr. Morrissey and Miss Warren welcomed their first child, son Chase, in March 2015 when she was 19. She delivered their daughter, Bella, in March 2016, while juggling motherhood, the campaign, college classes and a move to the family’s new home on Seminary Avenue in Ginter Park.

The ceremony went off as planned by retired schoolteacher Pam Parker of Simply Perfect Weddings and More and her team.

It began a fashionable half-hour late to give late-arriving guests time to park in nearby fields and ride a trolley to the ceremony. Meanwhile, the bride waited patiently in a limousine.

The five Morrissey children were front and center at the ceremony. His two oldest daughters, Angela Schaefer and Lindsey Mackay, both in their 20s, were bridesmaids. His 3 1/2-year-old daughter, Kennedy, was the flower girl. Mr. Morrissey’s 7-year-old nephew, John, was the ring bearer.

Fifteen-month-old Chase accompanied his father, while 2 ½-month-old Bella was carried by a friend of the bride.

The wedding party also included the groomsmen, the Rev. Joe Ellison and businessmen Abe Massad and Warren Rogers, and maid of honor Kaelah McClaine and bridesmaid Tiffany Crespo.

Saxophonist Rick Elliott, who serenaded guests before and during the ceremony, joined DJ Kevin “K.J.” Johnson and his wife, Cherrese Johnson, in providing music at the post-nuptials dinner under a tent.

For the couple, the scandals are now fading into family lore. And the bevy of guests who attended indicates many wish them well.

BRAVO dems. ..you Got your way! Get a pedo in and focus on them being a family after he preyed upon a young girl who didn't have the wherewithal even by the Law to give consent. Not only that you put him in office and now he can look out for All who try to Force their pedophile normalization agenda under various guises where they skillfully deceive those on the side of progressives into thinking they are protecting the rights of a "protected class" a.k.a. a certain mafia that puts hits on those trying to protect children.

Looks like This is the judge that threw the case out and made sure he aided Morrissey as reported by the Richmond Free Press

Joseph D. “Joe” Morrissey no longer has four felony charges hanging over his head.

Judge Alfred D. Swersky threw out the indictments facing the former General Assembly member Wednesday at a hearing in Henrico County Circuit Court.

Pretty clear what is going on here, See more in sources below.

Screen Shot 2019-11-13 at 1.51.28 PM.png

Judge Swersky, who was appointed to hear the case, agreed with defense attorney Anthony Troy that a previous plea deal that resulted in Mr. Morrissey serving 90 days in jail included a grant of immunity that blocked prosecutors from bringing any new charges related to that case.

The plea deal led to Mr. Morrissey’s conviction on a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The flamboyant attorney was alleged to have had a sexual relationship in 2013 with Myrna Pride, then a 17-year-old receptionist working in his law office.

The felony indictments alleged that Mr. Morrissey committed forgery and perjury related to a child support document his defense team presented Dec. 12 when he was sentenced on the misdemeanor charge.

He has since served a 90-day jail sentence on the misdemeanor conviction and was released last month.

Wednesday’s decision by Judge Swersky ends the case unless a higher court reverses him. The prosecution can appeal his ruling.

When you read this article found in sources below, it is Very obvious what happened, concerning the fact that Myrna's father and sisters tried to look out for her, but the Mother was willing to help the case of Morrissey preying upon her daughter.
