Years ago while working at my job in Wisconsin I learned something very important. As a new supervisor, I learned that it wasn't what I said, but what people heard.
The idea sounds straight forward, but it turns out that because we take in informatiin differently we have many misunderstandings. I was reminded if this today. Unfortunately, the person didn't hear what I said and filled the blanks in themselves.
I encourage you to not get down because of events like this, but keep moving forward. You shouldn't live in the past, but each day in the present, and to the fullest.
Be well. Be encouraged. Be radical.
