THE ADVENTURES OF THE 24/7 STEEMHEAD – Episode 5 – CONTENT CREATION & HEAD WOUNDS

What happens to a person when they are consumed by STEEMIT, and live, eat, and breathe STEEM 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

They become a 24/7 STEEMHead, viewing every detail of their life through the lens of how it can be applied to steemit.

This is a story from the life of one such individual, a 24/7 STEEMHead.

CREATING CONTENT & HEAD WOUNDS

It started out as such a normal day… well a normal day for a STEEMhead on vacation anyway. The plan was simple enough, just take a drive to the beach with a few of the kids and have a nice afternoon in the surf and sun. Of course some content creation was also on the menu, as it should be for a 24/7 STEEMhead, but, other than that, all was pretty normal.

The beach proved to be a pleasant opportunity for the little ones to splash and play. The STEEMhead was hard at work finding content. With ideas in the mind and a camera in the hand, it was time to find some good post material. Originally, the STEEMhead had planned on finding some crabs at the sea shore to take some photos of and make some videos of too. All was going according to plan until suddenly…

HEAD WOUND!

In a situation like this, one has to act fast or things may not turn out as well as they could. Thankfully, the camera in the STEEMhead’s hand was ready for action. Since selfies take the least amount of time, he took a few of them first.

If someone else saw the blood, they might dial 911. Paramedics hate allowing people to take good “blood selfies” and always clean up stuff like that right away. In the event of a bloody head wound, selfies should be first on the list for any serious content creator or poster on steemit.

These are words from the wise folks, so pay attention if you really want to steemit!

DON’T FORGET TO VLOG!

Vlogging is rapidly becoming the new blogging for those who can’t quite type good words for reading, or something. If you can hit the record button instead of the selfie button, you can pretty much vlog. You just have to remember to, like, say stuff and do things.

Our STEEMhead was no different than other opportunistic vloggers. After those quick selfies it was time to record. Remember, opportunities like this, especially when they are not staged are basically digital gold. If you ever have a serious chance at going viral, a head wound will probably be it.

DON'T FORGET TO STICK WITH THE PLAN!

Blessed with this incredible new content that seemed to just suddenly hit him in the head, the 24/7 STEEMhead almost forgot to stick to the plan. The “scheduled” content still needed to be created. Still feeling as lightheaded as if he had just cut off seven years of dreadlocks, the STEEMhead picked up the nearest crab and began again with the photos and video.

Obviously applying pressure to the wound with one had restricted the capabilities a little, but this content was not going to create itself.

The time when people were satisfied with simply telling scar stories has long since passed. These days, if you can’t post about it, it probably didn’t happen. This is an important lesson to learn. Keep that camera handy and always be ready to takes some selfies or make a vlog. Anything less will never be enough to label you as a 24/7 STEEMhead. Steem on, and steemit like you mean it!
