Hello to fellow Steemians !!
I'm Dheeraj Singh from New Delhi, India. I joined this amazing community few days back due to my dear friend Meghan Naik, popularly known here as @firepower! I was hesitant to write about myself primarily due to the fear of being a common man who doesn’t know how to express himself in words. Heck, even my conversation with @firepower today started with, “I cannot imagine doing even a miniscule of what you do on this great platform” but his reassurance of how wonderful and welcoming this community is the reason I was able to gather the courage to write this post.
My phone call to @firepower today was to understand how the crypto currency world works and how I can gain more knowledge about it? By the end of our conversation I was not only a little more knowledgeable about crypto’s I was certain that I’m going to try to open myself and express myself in the best way possible to the world !!
So, here I’m trying to explain who I’m, what I do and how I want to gain wisdom, friends and experiences through this amazing community.
Who I’m? I’m a 34 year old, father to a four year old boy, traveler/foodie/hibernated biker/Photography enthusiast stuck in a web of corporate world trying to build a secure future for my family and to travel around the world.
What I do? I’m working as Director Operations for a startup which is in outsourcing space. I’m passionate about people and I have been hiring/grooming/managing people in my professional life. A company can only grow if the people within grows, that’s what I believe and continue to work on.
I’m HERE to change my perspective towards myself !!!
Although, if you refer to my conversation with @firepower (mentioned above) you will feel that I’m here to make some money but, NO, I needed his advice on understanding and investing in crypto’s and was hesitant to participate here because I always felt that everyone here is far more talented than me and I might not be able to add value to the community. People like @firepower are true inspirations, he encouraged me to start with ‘this’ and see where it takes me. So here I’m folks, amongst you great talented people trying to get inspired.
Let’s see where it goes from here !!
