Howdy from Austin, Texas! I am mom to 2 special needs boys and former special education teacher. The bulk of my posts will be about special needs issues. I live just outside of Austin and am a middle school English teacher. As I type this, I am traveling to Dallas to host a Texas conference about my son's rare condition - Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum. Look it up! My other son suffers from epilepsy and ASD. We live a busy, crazy life! My son took this picture of me last week after discovering a mess in my recently cleaned house.
I enjoy great food, wine, music, and traveling. My favorite travel spots are all beach locations: Miami (where I went to college - go [[__]]), La Jolla, and the beautiful Amalfi Coast (where I got married).
I studied classical voice and foreign languages in college and love seeing opera performances. I love great food - all things Latin! I look forward to getting to know new people who share like interests!
