AIR-CLINIC was born out of the dire need for people to get easy access to healthcare globally. At a time like this when the blockchain technology is positively influencing everything, its only proper that it touches on healthcare delivery as well. There has been too much gap in providing a concrete workable system that will generate real value for everyone regardless of location.
Frequently encoutered problems in the health sector include:
× Location and distance issues,
× High cost of healthcare
× Poor collaboration between health workers
× Slow hospital processes and bureaucracy
× Non-involvement of the general public for healthcare delivery
× Difficult methods of payment etc
Now with the advent of the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN, we will be able to bypass those problems to provide healthcare that is:

✓ Involves the general public (health-enthusiasts) by providing benefits

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE THESE?
We hope to achieve these gagantuan tasks via 2 major methods which will be enumerated below:
1. ONLINE METHOD:
This is our immediate/short-term goal.
- We have set-up the AIR-CLINIC Discord Server to handle the affairs of the clinic (for now).
The categories of people that we need on the server are :
- HEALTH-WORKERS: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists, optometrists, dentists etc.
- HEALTH-ENTHUSIASTS: these are people who want to learn about health on a daily basis.
- CLIENTS: these are the people who are seeking consultation for different health problems.
- STUDENTS: individuals studying health-related courses are welcome to participate, connect with each other and get mentorship from their senior colleagues.
- SPONSORS: they are also welcome to give financial and moral support to the community.
BENEFITS OF THE ONLINE METHOD:
- Clients will be able to get quick, accessible and affordable consultations from anywhere around the world.
- We provide health tips to health-enthusiasts for daily healthy living.
- Our team of qualified health-workers are available around the clock.
- This also fosters collaboration between health workers.
- Students can also participate and get mentored.
- We run a referral system that will encourage health-enthusiasts and the general public to seek healthcare.
2. OFFLINE METHOD:
This is our long-term goal
- We are partnering with @ejemai of @stach to decentralize the medical offline.
- We propose to build a hospital that will also have a Steemit hub.
- It will serve as a link between our online activities and the real world.
- We will be able to collaborate with other healthcare facilities to foster healthcare.
- People can PAY WITH STEEM for healthcare.
- THIS WILL BE EXPANCIATED FURTHER LATER.
