Hello Steemit! My name is Dominic and I started this far too early this morning. What can I say? I just couldn't contain my excitement when I realized my account was active and ready. After reading some posts, meeting nice people in Steemit-Chat (waving at you @clevercreator) I decided to bite the bullet. I grabbed a camera, and created that lovely mess you see above.
How did I get here?
About a week ago, I decided I wanted to learn about things like block-chain and crypto-currencies. I started with mining on my spare GPU cycles, and looking into what the technology is going to mean in the future.
I haven't been this excited since I got my first email address back in 1998! (One should never let a pre-teen have internet un-supervised. Trouble... So much trouble.)
Now what?
I think what I will likely be posting is conversations. I will start with something of a seed for conversation and discussion, and then take it to the comments. I love being able to converse with people and this seems like a more refined forum than my Facebook has become over the last year.
