What is up, everyone!
It seems like a lot of people who join Steemit do an #IntroduceYourself post, so I thought I'll do one too :)
I'm a location independent entrepreneur and I've been traveling the world for the past four years while running my online ventures at the same time.
Two years ago I decided it'd be awesome to document my travel adventures on Instagram and YouTube, simply so that I could remember my trips when I was 95 years-old (haha) and obviously because I wanted to share them with my family and friends.
A year later, my video from North Korea went completely viral and suddenly there were tens of thousands of people watching my videos and getting inspired to travel because of them.
As time went by, there were more and more people messaging me saying they went on this or that adventure because they saw me doing it and those messages would make me incredibly happy - it'd feel like the best thing ever!
Eventually I made it my life's mission to inspire thousands of people to explore the world, because I truly believe that if everyone traveled, the world would be a much better place.
We would all be a lot more tolerant, compassionate and understanding, which would, of course, lead to a lot more happiness in this beautiful world we live in...
I continued producing travel content and since there were a lot of people wondering how I was able to afford to travel 12 months a year, I made a short video explaining how I make money remotely while traveling and wrote a free e-book about 29 different ways to quit the 9 to 5 and become a digital nomad.
Then, as I was looking for more ways to post content on, someone told me about Steemit and it seemed like the greatest idea ever. A community where people get rewarded for posting and curating high quality content?..
Heck yes!
So... that's why I'm here - to share my love for traveling and interact with the members of this wonderful community, called Steemit :)
I'll be starting a series of travel-related articles and I hope you'll enjoy them. If you have any tips or advice from your experience using Steemit, do let me know in the comment section below! I'd appreciate it a lot!
