Hello, Steemit!
Melody Russell here. My husband @jasonrussell has encouraged me to join because of our mutual love for photography, art, music, nature, and life in general.
We have been a part of each other's lives since we were ages 12 and 13. We have been married for over 10 years and have 2 amazing daughters! We live in a very rural area in southern Missouri, USA where we enjoy hiking, camping, "backroading" and floating our beautiful scenic rivers. We also love experimenting with our cameras and doing all sorts of photography.
Aside from everything that my husband and our girls enjoy together, I am an avid music listener, poetry/literature aficionado, and a bit of a musician and writer myself. I'm the type of person that writes constantly, and throws 95% of it in the trash Occasionally, I share my thoughts online and sometimes feel regretful for doing so. Often, my thoughts do not translate very well from brain to words. Consider yourselves warned if in the future I say something silly or off-the-wall.
Although I have a great love for the arts and travel, I haven't had the opportunity to travel much and haven't had a lot of exposure to the sights and cultures of our beautiful world. I look forward to seeing it through the eyes of others as well as sharing my experiences here on Steemit!
