Who am I?
My name is Miguel Rivas, I’m 18 years old, I live in Caracas and I’m an student in Economics and Liberal Arts. My hobbies are writing, playing the guitar and playing videogames. My favorite book is Anna Karenina, my favorite band is Joy Division and my favorite videogame is Europa Universalis IV. I also enjoy reading about politics, history and, even if I don’t know much about it, arts and philosophy.
How did I find Steemit and what am I looking for here?
I found Steemit because a friend (@mariapaola-ap) told me about her experience here. She said to me that the community was very active and involved, and that this place represented an opportunity for developing the art of writing and to make it better.
After hearing about the site I spent a lot of time thinking about it, debating myself with the idea. In the end I decided that I had to take a shot, that I couldn’t lose this opportunity because I was afraid and that if I was not good enough, I had to do everything to get better and to develop myself.
That’s why I come to this platform, to get better at my writing, to meet people with similar interests and to grow, not only as a writer but as a person as well. With nothing else to add, I say goodbye.
