Hi I'm Sylvia, a French national and an English-speaking Montessori teacher who loves and lives to travel, take photos, and experience as much as I can while my legs still allow me to do so. The greetings in the title are Hello’s from the places where I’ve worked and lived over the past few years.
Originally from France, I grew-up in Canada and started my journey in the world of education by teaching EFL (English as a Foreign Language) for over 10 years in France, Vietnam and Japan. In 2010, having observed children for many years and eager to learn more about alternative educational systems, I went back to Paris to train as a Montessori guide/educator. I then moved to Hong Kong where I taught for 3 years.
I have also guided children, helped train teachers and develop Montessori programs in Hangzhou, China and Kathmandu, Nepal.

I am currently living in Spain and loving it, but always looking out for my next adventure. There are so many places and cultures to experience, and yet so little time!
Very excited to start meeting you all on this platform. I am likely to focus on reading and writing blogs related to education, travel, photography, and the occasional funny blog😊 I may even write a few blogs in both French and English, if I find the courage.
