EID-UL-Fiter is one of greatest religious festivals to Muslims in the planet. The festival comes after 1 month fasting of Ramadan. The day tell us to remove all discrimination between us and look forward to celebrate as an occasion of peace, happiness and festivity.
In the day, Bangladeshi Muslims eat "Semai" first after EID prayers in open ground. Many other types of food are cooked according to the ability of family.
If you not wonder, many families are not able to feed their children even when it is EID. I took initiative in 2014 when I was a undergraduate student. That time, we distributed around 50 pockets of necessary foods like Oil, Semai, flour, sugar and other things. We was just gathered from university and made it possible and told we will not take photograph. We later understood our decision wrong as we failed to promote our work without photograph and after our university graduation we couldn't support our community as we had done before.
But I have changed it in 2017, We helped 43 families through my organization Road To 2030 on 23 June, 2017. My aim is to contribute in 17 Sustainable Development Goals with my project School For SDG4 and Women Empowerment . Our help may help them to celebrate this EID without hunger. We wish them to enjoy the holy EID with their family, friends and beloved persons. Here I am going to share pictures of individual families to whom we supported on 23rd June 2017. In the pictures, I am with mixed color t-shirt.
