Here’s a lineup of the members and a little about them:

@verbal-d joined Steemit in early August 2016 after being introduced by his brother-in-law @sirwinchester. He brings to the Steemian community his supportive attitude, enthusiasm and appreciation for content creation and the inspiration he acquires from his fellow community members, and aims to give back through his own storytelling, music production, singing, rapping, piano playing, and poem writing. He received a BA in Creative Writing for the sole purpose of crafting lyricism and building his songwriting skills.

"Eyes may be the windows to the soul, but music is the portal to reach the depths thereof" is one of his quotes.

Being creative and versatile is his focus, and he enjoys educating people through his caring music with uplifting, positive, and thought provoking consciousness, as well as learning from people. The best part about music for him is how it creates so many social interactions amongst all diverse peoples as a universal bridge. So being a musician and artist to himself means to speak a barrier-breaking language with the intent of moving the hearts and souls of his listeners.

@senseiteekay joined steemit mid way through July after hearing about it on a trading website. He has spent his time on steemit networking with peers and creating his own music label, the first music label to ever be based on the blockchain.

He lives in Townsville, Australia. He spends his days working from home on music productions, whilst studying music full-time. He also trades currencies part-time. His passions include music, skateboarding, fashion, and philosophizing about social behaviors, politics, & ontology.

@papa-pepper joined steemit back in July after being encouraged by @noganoo. He was basically new to the internet at that point, and had no real background in either social media or cryptocurrency. Somehow by his consistent blogging and interaction on steemit, he’s built up quite a following and made a name for himself in this community.

He lives in Arkansas, USA and is the husband of one and father of four, with one more on the way. When he’s not on steemit he can be found spending time with his loved ones, out in the garden, foraging for wild food in the woods, catching all sorts of interesting and dangerous creatures, or just having a good time.

Here is a sampling of his music, “STEEMIT LIKE YOU MEAN IT”, which won the Open Mic Contest Week 8.

Much like the steemit meet-ups and steemfest, @the-blockchain is another great example of how steemit community members interact with one another on a whole new level.

The difficulties of putting together solid music by members from all around the globe is eclipsed by the desire to do something revolutionary and take steemit to the next level as a platform.

THE BLOCKCHAIN – Steemit’s 1st International Music Group – A Dream of @teamsteem Becomes Reality

Late on the night of November 27th, a brainstorming session occurred between @teamsteem and @papa-pepper. These guys are constantly thinking of ways to build steemit up and take it to the next level. Among the ideas born that evening was an exclusively international steemit rap group.

@papa-pepper suggested such members as @senseiteekay and @verbal-d.
