My name is Tom. I am excited and pumped to join this community that not only shares photos but unique travel stories from around the world. I am an expedition guide, marine biologist & amateur photographer, whom has worked and travelled around the world educating & helping people to safely interact with marine mammals. I tend to focus on Cetaceans (Whales) interactions – especially, Orca/Killer Whales & Humpback whales.
I basically spend my days either on the ocean, near it or under it. I'm originally from Australia but have been calling Canada home for the past 7 years. However, I do spend some of the year working and traveling to Antarctica & Australian in between gigs on Vancouver Island! Small Type B ~ Gerlache Killer Whales in Antarctica that we encountered in the Gerlache strait that I took a few weeks ago. Its a tad hard to upload photos whilst down in Antarctica for obvious reasons.
