THE PAINTING COMPETITION AT THE AGE OF FIFTEEN
Hello dear friends!
I found at my parents' house a drawing in oil pastels, which I had done for a competition twenty years ago ...
This painting contest was at the Mendrisio grape festival, and the artworks had to be in theme with the event.
My sketch was awarded with the third prize, a good result considering that I was the only underage (I was 15 years old) to participate, and that there were many works.
In the image below you can see the whole picture, while in the other images some detail.
The support I used is a white cardboard.... and the colors are warm shades to remember the autumn and the wine.
IL CONCORSO DI PITTURA A QUINDICI ANNI
Ciao cari amici!
Ho ritrovato a casa dei miei genitori un disegno a pastelli ad olio, che avevo fatto per un concorso vent' anni fa...
Questo concorso di pittura era alla festa dell' uva di Mendrisio, e le opere dovevano essere in tema con l' evento.
Il mio schizzo é stato premiato con il terzo premio, un buon risultato tenendo conto che ero la sola minorenne (avevo 15 anni) a partecipare, e che c' erano molte opere.
Nell' immagine sottostante potete vedere il quadro intero, mentre nelle altre immagini é immortalato qualche dettaglio.
Il supporto che ho utilizzato é un cartocino bianco.... e come colori ho scelto tonalitá calde per ricordare l' autunno ed il vino.
Maybe I will find some more drawings if I start to search well :-D
