Hello everybody
The little family is all around the lake. This is a family with a mother, a father and some kids. They are swans and so lovely, the father is very protective and sometimes very aggressive. He had to act like a real machoman. He blows and he runs or swims after the aggressors. He can run behind and persecute his victims. I think he has a real stubborn character and he can not compromise about the protection of his kids. Sometimes they kids fall asleep and he has to control them for the sake of their security.
I think after the winter I will be back to the lake and I will see if the ducklings transformed themselves into swans. I hope so, I am looking forward to snapping some new photos. Anyway, I must admit, one I recorded a video in which ducklings were fighting. To tell the truth those were little puppies from Branta canadensis, also known as Canada goose.
I find this little fight so sweet!!! :D
