I have been here almost nine months so far and last week was probably my best one: I am not writing about posts or rewards depending on writing my posts, but I am talking about the machine that allows to Steem Blockchain to work. That is the Engagement. I think this is really important here, but I did not think the same some weeks ago. I was thinking that only posting was the most relevant thing here, because all the other things were irrelevant.

Sono circa 9 mesi che sono qui e la scorsa settimana è stata probabilmente la migliore: non sto scrivento a riguardo di post o reward dipendenti dallo scrivere post, ma sto parlando della macchina che permette alla Blockchain di Steem di funzionare. Si tratta dell'Engagement. Penso che esso sia molto importante, anche se non pensavo la stessa cosa alcune settimane fa. Stavo pensavando che solo creare post fosse la cosa più importante qui, perché tutte le altre cose erano meno rilevanti.

I started to follow an Italian users, @mad-runner, some months ago, who usually talked in his posts about the weekly contest Engagement & Curation League by @abh12345 and supported by @curie, where he would like to reach the first places. Then I decided to join that contest, even if my results were very bad.
However I noticed that the prizes were very good for the winners and so I wanted to become one of the best. I started to imporve my Curation and I found the key to increase it. My weekly Curations increased in value and became around 3-4 Steem per week (for 1000SP). It was very glad for me, because I was gaining while I was supporting the other users.

Iniziai a seguire un utente italiano, @mad-runner, alcuni mesi fa, il quale parlava spesso nei suoi post del contest settimanale Engagement & Curation League di @abh12345 e supportato da @curie, dove gli sarebbe piaciuto raggiungere le prime posizioni. Così decisi di unirmi a questo contest, anche se i miei risultati erano pessimi.
Comunque notai che i premi erano molto buoni per i vincitori e così volli diventare uno dei migliori. Iniziai a migliorere la mia Curation e trovai la chiave per incrementarla. La mia Curation settimanale aumentò di valore e iniziò ad aggirarsi intorno ai 3-4 Steem a settimana (per 1000SP). Tutto ciò era molto gratificante per me, dato che stavo guadagnando mentre stavo supportando gli altri utenti.
Comunque notai che i premi erano molto buoni per i vincitori e così volli diventare uno dei migliori. Iniziai a migliorere la mia Curation e trovai la chiave per incrementarla. La mia Curation settimanale aumentò di valore e iniziò ad aggirarsi intorno ai 3-4 Steem a settimana (per 1000SP). Tutto ciò era molto gratificante per me, dato che stavo guadagnando mentre stavo supportando gli altri utenti.

However there was a side of this League that I would like to increase: Engagement section. So I started to understand how it worked and last week I catched first place as you can see here: ENGAGEMENT & CURATION LEAGUE.
The best readers have seen that I was the first user in Curation section too and I think that this is the greatest result for me and maybe a record in general.
At the same time some days ago I started following another contest, always about Engagement by @c-squared. Take a look here and you will know that I was first here too. AMAZING!!! LINK

Comunque c'era una sezione di quella Lega che avrei voluto migliorare: Engagement. Così scelsi di capire come funzionasse e la scorsa settimana ho raggiunto la prima posizione come potete vedere qui: ENGAGEMENT & CURATION LEAGUE.

A lot of people tell that Engagement is something of not important, because it does not allow to gain steems. The table above probably shows the opposite: 12 Steem are an amount that a lot of users are not able to gain in a week posting every day, so that is not true.

Molte persone dicono che l'Engagement sia qualcosa di non importante, perché non permette di guadagnare steem. La tabella sopra probabilmente mostra il contrario: 12 Steem sono un ammontare che molti utenti non riescono a guadagnare in una settimana postando ogni giorno, e per questo non è vero.
