Hi! With this draw I partecipate to @ran.koree’s contest Draw your name
Ho deciso di utilizzare il mio nickname, dal cui significato ho evidentemente preso spunto.
I choose to draw my nickname, inspiring me from its meaning (golden feather).
Mentre disegnavo, pensavo alla leggerezza di una piuma che sfiora la superficie dell'acqua illuminata dai raggi dorati del tramonto ed accarezzata dal vento. Ovviamente io non sono capace di rendere tutti questi effetti col disegno o col colore. Inoltre mi sono sempre piaciuti i disegni in bianco e nero, quindi ho deciso di lasciarlo così. Sono contenta che, in parte, la piuma sembri davvero mossa dal vento, e che il mio nick emerga da un bordo frastagliato che mi ricorda delle fiamme.

While drawing I was thinking to the lightness of the feather touching the surface of the water, lit by golden sunbeams in the sunset and caressed by the wind. Unfortunately I am not such an artist able to make all this effects by my pencils or colors. Furthermore, I’ve always loved black and white sketches, then I decided to leave it this way. I'm finally happy that somehow my feather seems like it was moved by the wind and my nickname arose from a jagged border that remind me flames.
