Explore everyday life in Japan
Where there is music, there are people. And where there are people, there are ... vendors?
If you're at a music festival, that is probably the case. In Japan as well, pop-up tents filled with homemade items and vintage goods line the walkways of music festivals.
Converted campers and vans surround the stage areas and offer a variety of beverages and foods--from homemade gelato and puddings to hamburgers and kebabs.
In a land that many have described as a place where the nails that stick out get hammered back in, you can still find many people who have escaped being hit by the proverbial hammer.
Just follow the music out into the mountains to a local music festival and you are bound fo find plenty of people defying the norm.
