[Japan Photo Blog] Vol. 13: Okonomiyaki and Gravitous Gratitude.

ありがとう。

Thank you. 🙏

My friend here in Niigata is a tennis coach. I recently helped him as he arranged a homestay exchange trip for his junior high school tennis students to Australia. Tonight, after our English lesson together, he told me he wanted to take me out to dinner and pay for everything as a sign of his "gravity." He then corrected it to "gratitude."
Both words seemed appropriate to me, and I was very grateful myself, for his gesture. Here are a couple pictures from the okonomiyaki and beer, night out.
