One of my favorite meals in Japan was eating at Ichiban Ramen! Not only was the meal delicious, but the whole experience was so bizarre and unusual.
When you first enter the restaurant, you are greeted with a vending machine that will take your order. I got to select what the type of ramen and all of the toppings I would like added on.
After you finish ordering and paying on the vending machine, you wait in a small line for a spot to open up. This ramen restaurant, is pretty tiny and can only seat about 15 people at a time.
What is so unusual about the way the restaurant is set up, is that it looks like an office space filled with little cubicles. People are able to have their own private space so they can enjoy and "focus" on their ramen.
They even left instructions for us!
The server will pop out of a small window to give you your ramen!
Here is the amazing ramen!
