Top 4 Insane Japanese Criminals (Notes from Under the Tatami Mats–31 … My Adventures in Japan)

“If only those crimes did not have such a terrible impact on the victims and on the families and friends of the victims.”

As hinted in #4, these sordid stories would amount to nothing more than low-budget horror flicks.

(Granted, that would be the case if those crimes did not have such a terrible impact on the victims and on the families and friends of the victims, and if they did not cause so much sorrow and suffering.)   (Image source)

Beyond tragic.

Indeed, the above tales would never amount to “drama” or even “tragedy,” both of which would feature some conflict between good and evil, and which would imply that the criminals displayed some decency and humanity.

Certainly, those stories would make appallingly bad, low-budget horror flicks. Those protagonists mentioned above have no decency or humanity, and would put Godzilla to shame.      (Image source)

note – Any allusions to the aforementioned “psychopathic scumballs” (see Tatami #30) are purely and entirely coincidental. At the same time, any illusions about the allusions would indicate delusional disorder. Be careful.  (Image source)
