今日は沖縄の伝統工芸について書こうと思います。
それは沖縄の焼き物「やちむん」についてです。
「やちむん」は沖縄の方言で「やきもの」が訛ったものですね。
I am writing about traditional crafts in Okinawa today.
It is Okinawan pottery "Yachimun".
私たち家族は毎年沖縄へ行きます。
なぜかというと、他界した父の故郷が沖縄だからです。
毎年、お墓参りをします。そして沖縄を観光します。
沖縄の文化にふれ、自分のルーツを確かめています。
Our family goes to Okinawa every year.
The reason is because Okinawa is the hometown of the deceased father.
We visit the grave every year.
We sightsee Okinawa every year.
I touch Okinawa culture and check my own roots.
さて、「やちむん」は400年の歴史があります。
毎年沖縄に来て「やちむん」を見ていますが、飽きることがありません。
「やちむん」は独特のぽってりと厚い器に、大胆な絵柄が描かれています。
Well, "Yachimun" has a history of 400 years.
I come to Okinawa every year and see "Yachimun", but I do not get bored.
"Yachimun" is drawn with a bold design in a unique thick tableware.
メジャーな絵柄として魚があります。
魚はとてもたくさんの卵を産むことから、子孫繁栄を願って描かれます。
There are fish as a major pattern.
Since fish lay a lot of eggs, they are drawn in hopes of descendants prosperity.
「やちむん」は沖縄のとてもメジャーなお土産物です。
ほとんどのお土産物屋さんで買うことができます。
日常的に使う器から、特別な日に使う器まで、たくさんあります。
"Yachimun" is a very popular souvenir in Okinawa.
You can buy it at most souvenir shops.
There are tableware to use everyday, tableware to use for special days, many kinds.
沖縄の焼物として、もう一つ忘れてはならないのが「シーサー」です。
沖縄では「獅子」のことを「シーサー」と呼びます。
「シーサー」は守り神として、玄関や屋根の上に飾られます。
It is "Shisa" that you should not forget as a pottery in Okinawa.
In Okinawa we refer to "lion" as "shisa".
"Shisa" is installed as a guardian god on the entrance and the roof.
最近は「シーサー」のデザインも大きさも多種多様です。
大きくてものすごく立派なシーサーもあります。
手のひらに乗るサイズのシーサーもあります。
「シーサー」は主に火事から家を守ってくれるとされています。
Recently, "Shisa" has a wide variety of designs and sizes.
There is also a big and tremendously wonderful "Shisa".
There is also "Shisa" of the size to ride in the palm.
"Shisa" is said to protect the house mainly from fire.
獅子を飾る文化は、シルクロードを通じて中国から日本へ伝わったと言われており、文化の広いつながりを感じます。
現在の私たちは、steemitやブロックチェーン技術で同じように文化の交流ができるのではないかと感じました。
It is said that the culture that puts the lion was transmitted from China to Japan through the Silk Road.
I feel a broad connection of culture.
I felt that we can exchange cultures in the same way with steemit and block chain technology at the present time.
