Recently, I went to a small Italian counter restaurant in Shinsaibashi. The owner cooked the food in front of customers sitting at the counter. After trying a selection of appetizers we ate grilled lamb and shellfish spaghetti. We also tried a bottle of full bodied Italian red wine recommended by the owner. It was very good and quite distinctive in flavor.
