Happy New Year's Eve-Week (Week-Eve?) from Hansik House!
I hope the holiday season is culminating fabulously into exciting New Year's plans. One thing I'm stoked about is getting together with my partners @hitheryon in New York for the big ball drop.
For today and the next few days, I'd like to publicly proclaim my goals on Steemit so that y'all can keep me in check and accountable as 2017 begins to come around. Hansik House has some major upcoming milestones (a future AM weekly radio show, events in Korea and New York, and a few more goodies) and I'd love to maintain the support and criticism that we've had so far.

개인적으로 글쓴이는 연말에 제가 포함된 스팀잇 건축, 아트 계정 @hitheryon 친구들과 6개월만에 다시 새해를 맞이 하기위해 이곳 뉴욕에서 모일예정입니다.
저는 이 글을 쓰며 2017년 한식 하우스의 신년 계획 시리즈를 써나가볼 계획입니다. 신년부터 이곳 뉴욕에서 라디오쇼를 진행하게되고, 한국방문 등..저희의 계획을 여러분과 공유하고 여러분들의 의견도 저희의 과정에 융합시키고 싶습니다!
Get Off my (Growing) Ass and into the Public
Radio is very much a public affair. Our work in Bolivia.
My co-host (Ryu) and I have been nurturing this podcast for close to a year now- setting up a website, Soundcloud, iTunes, Steemit handle, live shows and interviews, and planning our first full calendar year in 2017. Most of that work has been done in front of a computer monitor and we haven't quite had the long stretch of time to do public workshops and presentations. We recently moved from Boston to New York so diving into unfamiliar territory has slowed down our desired pace as well.
Now that we're ready with a set yearly schedule between Korea and the US, we've been laying our roots in the local communities, non-profits, and other cultural institutions. 2017 will hopefully be a tremendously creative year for us as we experiment with different forms and topics on radio as well as how to translate that broad(casted) discussion into the lives of earnest people.
So stating our first 2017 Resolution on Steemit will forever preserve a promise that I should not falter on, whether due to my sworn word on this platform (crystalized on the blockchain) or because our institutional partners are expecting much from our little radio show to bring in big cultural impact.

지난 3월 한국 우리나라의 창의적, 비판적인 목소리와 젊은 관점을 더 넓게 키우자 작은 미션으로 제 파트너와 함께 한식 하우스 팟캐스트를 시작하였습니다. 지금까지의 일들은 저희끼리 녹음을 하고, 에디팅, 사운드 클라우드에 올리는 등 컴퓨터 중심의 작업을 해왔습니다. 하지만 이제는 좀 더 그라운드에서 활동할 시간이 된것 같아서요. 이곳 뉴욕 한인 사회에서, 한국에서 비영리 단체, 교육단체들과 워크샵, 토론 등을 진행해보려 합니다.
2017년은 저희에게 한국과 미국사이에서 한식 하우스를 키워나갈 시간이 될것같습니다. 스팀잇 플랫폼에서 이렇게 신년 계획으로 첫번째 약속을 써놓겠습니다. 여러분들은 어떤 신년 계획을 가지고 계신가요?
