Through numerous fundraisings such as “Together Kakao, Million pound challenge, Indiegogo, Harvard RUNs” and with the help of our grateful partners “Seoul Forest Convention, Benco Foundation, Bill Cook Foundation”, we managed to expand our capacities and embrace more children in need of our help. We doubled the number of children from 23 to 45, and now RUN orphanage is home to 45 children.

In full appreciation of our such effort, the government of Uganda has fullfledgedly supported and acknowledged the value and legitimacy of our organization.
Currently, RUN has been;
- Registered as an official NGO in the province of Wakiso and Bugiri
- Filed for registration as an official OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) supporter organization
- Promised the full support of Uganda's governors and mayors to its project plans
Meanwhile, RUN Korea held its first fundraiser last September through an online platform “Together Kakao.”
Unlike conventional fundraisings, “Together Kakao” offered a convenient donation platform, allowing people to more easily engage in donations. Two months of “Together Kakao” fundraising enabled us to fully introduce ourselves to the Korean society, and our children were presented with new fluffy blankets and comfortable clothes.
