The moment when you're the most sensitive and vulnerable is when you're behind the wheel.
So we used to practice standing in other people's shoes, while I'm driving.
Dad: (While driving) You're driving on a deserted road, when a kid is hailing a car.
You just pass him by because you're in a hurry,
then that kid picks up a big rock and throws it to the trunk of your car. Bam!
Oh, shit! Why on earth do you think he did that?
Khani: Maybe he was chased by a thug!
Mani: Maybe there was a landslide and the apartment building was falling down.
Dad: A car keeps changing lanes and drives recklessly. What's wrong with him?
Why do you think he did that?
Khani: Maybe he just heard a bad news like his dad was dying.
Mani: Maybe he's in a hurry to buy food for guests. (Mani is hungry herself.)
