At first, I subscribed to this platform because it was based in California and seemed leggit. Nevertheless the service has been worsening.
I am sure you are all familiar with this screenshot (basically it happens 50% of the time on this trading platform...).

My own Take on Kraken's Service and Issues
I started by using this platform when I entered the CryptoWorld. Nowadays, I was just using it to withdraw Fiat currencies to be honest. The platform was just not functioning well.
Here are some of the platforms that I use.
Binance: I just discovered it a few days ago and it is very easy to use, very fast and with a lot of altcoins to trade and low fees. If you would like to register please click on this referral link: https://www.binance.com/?ref=21353975
Bitfinex: Nice platform even if its founders are sometimes not liked by the community (Tether founders as well). Nevertheless, the platform looks good, is fluid and you can even do leverage (careful if you are not a profesionnal trader). There are a lot of different coins but less than on Binance.
Bittrex: One of the platform with the most altcoins (including Steem and SBD so useful for Steemians). I do not like how the platform looks and you cannot use leverage on it. Nevertheless, great one for the Altcoins selection.
