Moscow

A lot has been written about Moscow, the capital of our homeland. This diverse and diverse city, like all Russian cities, is very ancient and very modern at the same time. I like to walk along the Arbat, where Okudzhava's Brother sings, where you can meet artists painting portraits, playing various musical instruments, and sellers selling various souvenirs to tourists and passers-by. The impressive and shopping street of the World, the solemnity of Red Square - everyone comes to the capital as pilgrims. There are many religious temples in Moscow - Orthodox, Catholic, mosques and synagogues.

Moscow is diverse - from the rich center with its expensive cars, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and boutiques to the slightly more modest suburbs of Moscow. At the same time, Moscow is a city that has gone through a lot and overcome many difficulties. As a city, the capital has a very rich history. Once it was occupied by the enemy, but selflessly survived these attacks thanks to Muscovites.

Today, thousands of volunteers come to Moscow for training, and these are not only Russians, but also citizens of other countries, including foreigners. Returning to their homeland after graduation, they remember with great gratitude the student years spent in the capital.

Moscow's role as the center of our country is immeasurable. That is why Moscow was defended during World War II, when soldiers risked their lives to defy the Nazis and defend the capital.

Moscow is the largest city in Russia, located on the Moskva River and built 800 years ago. Today, the modern city is rightfully recognized as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are many green parks and squares in the capital. In the city you can admire the great architectural wonders and numerous attractions, many of which are located specifically in the city center. These include the Kremlin, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre, St. Basil's Cathedral, the Armory and the Historical Museum building. This list can be continued indefinitely.

Moscow is not only the official capital of the motherland, but also the center of education, culture, science and industry. This is evidenced by the most significant and large buildings in Moscow: museums, art galleries, opera houses, universities, enterprises and research centers. The State Tretyakov Gallery, which houses the richest collection of Russian art, is of the greatest interest to art lovers. The collection of sculptures and paintings in the building of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts also attracts many sculptors and artists. In the center of the capital there are buildings of the Armory and the Historical Museum, excursions in which tell a lot of interesting things about the history of Russia.

The newest and perhaps the most famous landmark in Moscow is the recently renovated and renovated building of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Located on the banks of the Moskva River, it impresses the imagination of all Muscovites and guests of the capital with its wealth and splendor. Undoubtedly, the capital is a special city.
