Memories from abroad -We are but fleas on this planets back

taiwan 1.jpg

Tarako Gorge, Taiwan.

Sometimes we forget the scale of our planet.
Nestled safely in our cities, buildings towering above, subways pulsing below.
Sometimes we forget our place.
New on the block, younger brother to the trees, nowhere near our parents.
Sometimes we forget why we're here.
Thinking our monuments are so great, our toys so precious, our faces so unique.
Sometimes we forget.
That long after we are gone, the planet will turn on, and we will be forgot.

Thanks for looking!
