Introduction | 简介

Last Saturday, there was a 17-hour event called Relay for Life. It started as a global movement in May 1985 by American Cancer Society to bring community together to celebrate lives of cancer survivors. While the participants ran and ran, there were also family activities and performances through the night. When I arrived at the end point at Bukit Gombak Stadium on Sunday morning, the field had a stage at one side where a crowd has gathered to what some performance and some people were resting at the seating area.

I was there on Sunday morning with the tennis academy volunteers group for another sports outreach programme. We set up the mini tennis as another activity the volunteers and participants of the event can try out. Have a look at the folks having fun trying tennis.
