A Very Norwegian Christmas at the Julemarked (Short Film)

Last weekend, my girlfriend and I gathered a few friends and headed to the Norwegian Folk Museum to check out the Christmas market and festivities taking place there. The Folk Museum is a very cool place and I highly recommend it if you are touring Oslo. It contains a collection of historic buildings from all over Norway, ranging from centuries old to 20th century. They are typically moved from their original locations and reassembled in the exact same condition at the museum.

You'll find anything from old cabins, farmsteads with livestock, traditional baking demonstrations and various types of traditional general stores. There was even one old house with the woman who lived there when she was a girl to tell us about the history of it!

The weather was a bit rainy and dreary while we were there (we wished it was snowing instead to give it more of a Christmas feel), but we all still had a fun time and managed to make a short film to show what the event is like:
