We all humans tend to remain under stress, either way, it can be anything… work, lifestyle or even the kind of food we eat!...Yes! That's Right! Besides, there are several others reasons/causes/factors leading to "STRESS"!!!
Generally, it’s seen that urban lifestyles and workplace pressures are some of the major culprits and are leading us to be more and more stressed out, every second, every minute !!!
But, have you thought that there are so many simple & inexpensive ways to say BYE BYE to Stress and live happier lives, everyday! Yes! Really !!! Infact, we all know...but rarely make an effort to implement in full !
With all the minimal efforts and proactive thinking towards positive living and leading a healthy, happy & Stress-free life, invites just few progressive steps to be followed, each day, everyday! Without fail!!! Include them, in your daily life with all the perseverance!!!
I am absolutely sure that you all know these steps/points/actions very well…but still there are deviations, laxities and some indiscipline in our day to day lives that we take for granted and in return it takes us for granted too !!! Simple to read…Hmmm!…Yet, difficult to implement, in totality!!!
Are there Gaps, lacunae….!? Not at all…Its Lack of conscious effort !!! Just Follow them, meticulously…Without any deviations…!!! & See the results! All by yourself !!!
Consider, our body is our temple and we need to worship it seriously…daily…best possible!
We don’t need reminders!!! Do we…!!!??? Not at All !
Just listen and talk to your own mind body and soul and DE-STRESS with these simple Steps!
#1. First & Foremost…Hmmm!…Drink Plenty of Water, Stay Hydrated, all the time!!!

Water is about 60% of our bodyweight & absolutely essential for human survival, there is indeed no doubt about that! Among various functions of the body, water regulates, controls and maintains our body temperature, it helps in the absorption of all vital nutrients, it flushes out toxins from our body, improves and enhances cognition, mood & sleep quality. Most importantly, It helps you lose weight and is very good for your skin, keeps it hydrated and glowing and retains moisture. That ought to make you feel happier, relaxed and feel good. Now, isn't that Simple way to get rid of Stress!...Yes! Indeed it is!
#2. Don’t remain "Awake" till "LATENIGHT"!!!…Hmmm!…Get A "Goodnight’s Sleep"!!! It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT !!!

We all know it very well that sleep rejuvenates mind, body & soul and lack of adequate sleep can make us ill-tempered, careless, lazy and lethargic, possibly, also cause high blood pressure and decreased immunity, puffy eyes, reduced concentration levels and above all feeling sleepy throughout the day!!!. Instead, cultivate and adopt good sleeping habits, everyday!!! (No excuses, No deviations!!!). Make it a habit to get at least seven hours of sleep daily, go to bed and wakeup at a fixed time everyday, and try to avoid caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, tobacco and sugar rich foods or foods high on fat, before bedtime. Do not delay eating dinner, which will Infact delay absorption and interfere with sleep. Have light dinner at least two hours before you go to sleep. Practice it meticulously and lead a Stress free life!
#3. Shun the Laid-back Attitude/Approach…Hmmm!…Exercise…Walk, Run…lot of physical activities…throughout the day!!!

In today’s world staying physical fit and energetic is emphasized enough. Several studies, from experts, across the globe stresses on how daily physical activities, boosts our mental and physical well-being. Staying active has innumerable advantages/benefits…such as…It boosts/elevates our mood, is good for our heart, as it keeps heart healthy and pumping blood to various parts of our body more efficiently, keeps away from several diseases, depression and obesity and live a happy & Stress-free life.

Try adopting of some physical activity whether it’s walking, running, dancing or even yoga, into the daily routine. All it needs proper time, planning and implementation without fail and no leniency at all. Follow it meticulously and stay fit, healthy, active & happy.
#4. Find time to see Greenery…stop by...wherever you can…Hmmm!…Take Out Time To Notice enchanting nature and thoroughly enjoy Nature’s Beauty! Everyday!!!

Needless to say and even several studies/journals have pointed out time and again that how people who live in greener places are happier, healthier & live longer. Various researchers, world over have found that when people just took out time to enjoy and be with the nature, it increased their happiness & the sense of well-being, most importantly getting abundant fresh air/oxygen.
Making gardening a hobby, also elevates mind, body and soul. You get ample amount of time to be with nature, enjoy, see, feel and realize the nature's beauty, besides getting some decent amount of physical exercise while doing gardening!!! Seeing your own hardwork and beautiful well-kept garden really gives you so much happiness and pleasure.

#5. De-Stress the Musical Way…Hmmm!…Listening To Cheerful/Melodious Music, helps you relax and unwind!!!

Researchers from Missouri University stated that listening to Cheerful/Melodious music helps you feel buoyant in a conscious effort to improve/elevate your mood. So, now you know, besides some of you already know…create your favourite joyful songs playlist, listen to them in your car, home, SOS!!! & Relax !!!
#6. Now this one is absolutely fantastic…Hmmm!…Sing Your Heart Out, Don’t be Shy…let the rhythm & lyrics takeover your mind, body & soul !!!

Simple isn’t it! The science behind it is that singing releases “happiness hormones” such as “endorphins” (they are associated with feelings of pleasure!!!) & “oxytocin” which reduces anxiety and stress. Various Studies have also shown that singing also helps alleviate the feelings of loneliness and depression, resulting in being happy and in harmony with oneself. So follow it...practice it...like crazy!!!
#7. This one is fairly easy and to the liking of all…Hmmm!…Surround Yourself With Soothing Colours !!!

The Colour psychologists say, that “vivid colours” really have a strong positive impact on our mental health with blue, green and purple being the most soothing colours. Go for them! Paint your walls, keep things…and let them be around you in front of your eyes, as much possible!!! Get that soothing comfort and the beautiful moments to relax!!!
#8. This one is really very very serious…Hmmm!…Set Some limits/restrictions When It Comes To Your “SmartPhone”!!!

There is no doubt that Smartphones have become a significant way to engage with the world, stay connected and be in touch 24X7X365!!! But isn’t it a real pain, that we all carry with us in our heads, minds and body all the time!!! Besides…"Hey! Where the hell…have I kept my phone"!!!???...and all that ..."Hello"!..."Hello"!!..."Hello"!!!...OMG !!!
But, do you know that too much of smartphone use can cause concentration issues & poor sleep quality, eventually leading to obesity, depression, irritable behavior and addiction too!!!
Guess, we all are addicted to our smartphones, Now!!! 100% !!! We should get rid of this habit !!! I am literally trying !
So, now its high time to set some restrictions to ensure this relationship does not turn harmful. Make a move to Switch off your phone when you sleep at night, and when you wake up, try not reach out for it first thing in the morning, desperately !!! Though I really really know how hard it is!!! Smartphones have been human temptation with the each passing day!!! Put a hold! Yes, you can and only you can!!! Control !!! Curtail !!!
Instead when you wake up, do some stretches, set your own bed in order, walk, roam around the house, talk to family before you actually start replying to messages and emails and plunge back into the unknown whims & fancies of the virtual world. Learn, not to unnecessarily waste your precious time on the unwanted!!!
#9. If you have a love for writing…Hmmm!…Start Poetry!

Tried, tested and practiced!!! Helps clear your head and organize your thoughts by writing down something positive, constructive or doing poetry!!!
There are situations, where you just like talking or sharing something stressful with a close/dear friend. Right!!!
Regular journaling strengthens immune cells, as per one Texas University study/research. As per Psychologists, writing about stressful events of one’s life, helps you deal with them in a better way and decreases the negative effects such stressors have on your health.
#10. Do you like Pets…Hmmm!…Keep one and see the difference!

Research has shown that keeping and playing with the Pets helps reduce anxiety and feeling of loneliness. Their company makes you feel happy and decrease stress. Pets do give you a wonderful company, if you really keep them well and take good care of them and in return all these activities turn out to the stress busters!
#11. Stop/limit the intake of Junk Food…Hmmm!… Eat Healthy Diet…Eat Fresh Vegetables and Fresh Fruits!!!

Eat Fresh fruits and fresh vegetables to stay healthy. We all very well know, Healthy body leads to healthy mind. Stop/reduce the intake of Junk food, reduce the uneasiness one gets after eating it and all those digestive upsets and eventually that unhealthy feeling or even guilt of eating that wasn't appropriate and healthy!!! Therefore Eat Healthy & Stay Happy & Healthy!!! That's the Gist of Life !!!
