The Stress Crab Story
There was once a crab living at the bottom of the ocean, his name is Bubbly. As Bubbly continued to flourish in the wild, he was healthy and growing to be the adult crab he always wished to become.
One day he woke up and was feeling distressed. The pain around his body and face was not pleasant at all. He could feel his shell pushing up against his skin and this was putting him at danger.
As Bubbly got bigger, the shell does not and therefore he has outgrown his shell. The shell was too small for his body now and was stressing him out out completely!
In order for this crab to continue to grow and mature as a healthy strong force to reckon with, it must break out of his shell, hide under a rock, until he grows a new bigger shell around his body.
The saying... Coming out your shell... I believe it comes from this analogy.
If the crab was like humans and took painkillers/drugs every time it was stressed in pain, it would never feel the stress and stay a little crab forever. Do you see where I am going with this? Stress and other related topics are signals for you to change.
Stress can be good as it helps you grow and brings on your next chapter in life. Use it as a positive stepping stone.
Now what happen to Bubbly??
He got the courage to say enough is enough and broke out of his first shell!! He took cover under a rock until the new shell had grown in to protect him.
Bubbly has now been thriving for over 10 years and is a leader in the crab world that many look up to this day.
