When a child grows up, he is told to follow the rules, to listen to what others have to say, not to be loud around other people, and so on so forth. He is told that he will not be accepted by the society if he misbehaves. All these thoughts make a child think of what others would say about him. He starts to believe that he needs to be approved by the judgement of others in every step that he takes throughout his life. He forgets that the short life that he has, needs to be lived by his approval only.

“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.”
Listen to your INTUITION
A survey showed a study of what people regret the most throughout their lives. And the answer to most of them was that they wish they would not have lived their lives to win the favour of others but instead they had listened to their own hearts and minds. They wish that they could have put themselves before anyone else. Where ever a man sits or stands, he is curious of the thoughts, feelings and opinions of others. He wears a mask while talking to people which represents him as a nice, generous and a pleasant man, when in reality he is not. When people approach him nicely he starts to forget that he is wearing a mask, a fake mask that does not represent who he actually is.
Personal choice to be who you want to be:
A man as an individual should be celebrating himself, he should be free to express his thoughts and his emotions and not hold himself back for the thoughts of others. Everyone has their own mind, thoughts and emotions and everyone deserves to express them equally. Holding oneself back would not be of any good, instead it would just make one feel depressed and lonely. If a man only worries about how others will perceive him and does not express himself out of fear, then that man can never love himself or be himself or take a stand for himself. This world is not easy to deal with, one has to fight to get his own rights but one does not have to change his thoughts for the approval of others.

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.”
Accept yourself First:
Plastic surgeries are becoming a trend. Man is changing his physical appearance for the acceptance of others. They feel unpleasant and unattractive after hearing the remarks of others. They look at other people who seem stunning and want themselves to be like them, they ignore the beauty that they have been blessed with and are struck by the beauties of others.

“Don’t let others box you into their idea of what they think you should be. A confined identity is a miserable way to exist. Be you and live free. Trust that in living true to yourself, you will attract people that support and love you, just as you are.”

In the end, you YOURSELF is what matters the most, every single individual has his own personality, his own identity, his own mentality. One should step into their uniqueness and be unafraid to express their individuality. One may think that he is very perfect and optimized his lifestyle but in reality he was doing it for others his whole life and if you die right now then you'll be sorry because in that very moment nothing else matter other than you and you actually wasted your life for others, no matter how close they were. It does not mean that you should not do anything for others but its a fact that you can't please everyone, so being little selfish can be a good thing too.

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”
