For weeks now we have been missing two of our hens that have been brooding in the woods. For a while we thought maybe something had got them like a fox or the neighbors pitbulls. Then they started showing up at feeding time once a week, or so, just starving and I was sure what was going on. A couple days ago they came back with 7 new chicks one hatched 2 and the other 5. We are happy to add these to our tiny farm and feel a little better about that rooster crow at 5a.m.
