Do not worry!
Today I was really down. I didn't even want to post to be honest. But I decided to post this anyway. Every time I feel down like today, I can't help but rest in God's sovereignty and the fact that He is in control. Let me share with you a scripture about this fact and then one of my new favorite songs about it which is really angelic and soothing to my soul. Jesus taught his followers not to worry about life but rest in God's power and promises instead. Let's read the exact passage that I'm talking about right out of the Bible.
Luke 12:22-26
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
