This is Part 2 of this 3-part post. Read every word, and let me know your thoughts! If you haven't gone trough it already, go check out Part 1 before reading on. I have linked to that post at the bottom of this post. If you have read Part 1, then let's proceed!
Just have a reality check. I have recognized that my progress has in fact slowed down. I am not growing as fast as I used to. My engagement levels should be far higher. There is no justification, or any way around it. I am not going to bullshit myself and try and make the situation feel better. I have not been paying nearly as much attention to Steemit. I am not working as hard. I'm slacking!
See, back then, I had many haters. People who would laugh at me about what it is I want to achieve. They would genuinely doubt me. I was motivated as ever to prove them wrong! That's what got me going initially. Then, I started seeing small results, and my confidence started to gain. I started to get comfortable. That was my problem.
Comfortability is your worst enemy. It can also be your best friend, but many people get confused with this. Don't get me wrong, sometimes comfortability is needed. You need to recover, and just rest sometimes, but only AFTER you have put in the work. Don't mistake this.
Most people live their lives with a comfortable attitude. Never willing too get in the mess. Never wanting to try new things, expand, learn, grow, succeed..
Life is never perfect. It's not about what life hands you, but rather what you do about what life hands you, that will make the impact. I have been sleeping on the floor in an empty house for almost the past week. Am I enjoying it? Nope. My back is killing me, my diet is screwed.. But it's not about that. It's about my overall mission. What I am working for. Life happens, and it always will. Everyone has good times, and bad times. It's a natural way of life. What sets certain people apart from other's, is mentality.
You know why I know I'm doing the right thing? Because I am not comfortable at all. I have sleepless nights. But you know what? I feel better than ever!
Stay tuned for Part 3.
If you think someone you know deserves a shout-out, you are always welcome to let me know! Yes, you may nominate yourself, only if you really think your content deserves more exposure. Your results need to speak for themselves :) I choose a new person every week for the Shout-Out Saturday post! So stay tuned, it might be you!
More than how much my posts can make, I care far more about getting my content in front of newer faces. So if you would like to show your appreciation, you can share this with others!
I want this blog to be a happy, motivated place where you guys are free to engage and say whatever is on your mind. A place where if you have something on your mind, no matter how dramatic it may be, you can feel free to speak. Resteems are appreciated!
I reward good resteems and comments! I would love to know what's on your mind. Be bold and talk to me in my comments section! I would to know your opinion and what it is you'd like to achieve. I am trying my best to make 2 high quality blog posts per day. So stay tuned!

DO. NOT. GET. COMFORTABLE.
