Spark Braining: Break the boundaries

A person can think in different ways including deep thinking, fast thinking, long thinking and more depending upon the situation. When we think out of the our brain boundaries, we call it Creative Thinking or Spark Braining.We share a lot of information with each other, a person act like a node in the network of people interacting with each other. If we do not think out of the box about this information then there is no meaning to share. Information is meant to be shared so better results can be derived from it.

Why do people try to avoid spark braining? One of the most important reason is that they don’t want to go out of their comfort zone and don’t want to feel vulnerable. Another reason is that they don’t want to be unconventional and judged by others. So they don’t want to go out of the box. How to do Spark Braining? First of all, you should be ready to go out of the box consciously otherwise you are going to lose your generated ideas. Once you are out of the box mentally you will feel suspended and have no particular direction to think. This is the point where you need to long think about ideas that may be random or goal oriented. Once you have a few couple of ideas, try to associate or combine them and compare it with the final product to see if it is at least satisfying your requirement or there can be some better use of it. There are several number of methods to think creative and this is one of them.

There are very great examples of creative thinking or spark braining. One of the great example that I like is Virtual Reality(VR), how human have taken the entertainment experience to another level. We started from a black and white television and now we can actually experience things or hypothetical things with VR.

Bring innovation to company, How? For a company to be innovative, force spark braining and long thinking as necessity instead of an option. Encourage employees to think out of the box and let them take their time to come up with ideas. Do group discussion sessions to let everyone share their ideas and see what others can derived from it. Don’t stop with just idea thinking of being unconventional, bring it to life to benefit the world.
