We hope you set your recording devices, because GOE on MTV was pretty awesome!
Our episode of MTV's True Life aired last night, and we hosted an epic event in celebration. We don't watch TV, so our friend Julie shared her space to hold a watch party for a few dozen of our close friends.
Because we have people all over the world, we shared the event via live stream too!
While a poor wifi network undermined connection with @quinneaker, @kotamdickson, and @inokalrutz in South America for the live stream, North America was well represented with Steemians from Canada to Panama tuning in! Thanks to all who participated in our celebration!
The party was fun with über dank, mouthgasmic cuisine per our standards for high vibe food - Kristin of Bhakti House Band even said
our food is a download from heaven!
We ate, drank, and made merry, and after only 4 months of post-production processing it was finally time to see the show!
MTV chose to focus on Emet's construction of a teeny tiny home in our teeny tiny home village. Quinn offered guidance, as he does to keep everyone in our ecovillage focused and successful towards our purpose.
After commercials and the other "commune" featured in this episode, the show could only scratch the surface of what goes on at the Garden of Eden. It was awesome to facilitate a learning experience for Emet, and we're grateful that MTV honored the space we hold for people to activate a life of thrival. Despite days and days and days of footage on 3 cameras, they left out many aspects of life in our sustainable ecovillage, from humanitarian outreach to art to sungazing to live music to ethical merchantry to survival skillz to yoga...we really need our own show to cover this wealth of existence...
