After seeing her beanies on The Little Pepper People I reported to @papa-pepper that Granny was feeling inspired.
Today she arrived with a gleam in her eyes.
She knew that today was the day we were posting our package to @schoolforsdg4. 📦
She had spent a few long days and nights knitting herself into a frenzy.
She hoped to make each of the fifty children a warm hat for winter.❄
She almost made it.
The final count is thirty six!
Not a bad effort Granny.
We have quite the age gap between our children.
The first time round, I would put away little things for months to ensure a bounty on Christmas morning.
This time round, on reflection and with consultation with our very sensible teen, we decided to not reinforce the Christmas sack of toys expectation.
I have bought a few things, but not with the determination of filling a Santa sized sack of land fill.
Instead I went out with my little one last week and told him he could choose a few small gifts for our friends in Bangladesh.
Today these are on the way to Syhlet along with Granny's hats.
She has vowed to send at least another 14, when we forward the global sisterhood parcel in the next week or two.

The mother's of the children of @schoolforsdg4 will each receive a new sharee for the new year too.
I am working towards a goal to buy these via my steemit account.
@azizbd will make the purchase for me and present the shared to the mothers along with the children.
Involving the entire family and caring for the well-being of the mothers is a great way to ensure that the children will remain engaged in their education.
Happy momma happy baby.
