INTRODUCTION

During our lunch break at the floor outside the college's classrooms, I and my friends recalled about the shows we watched when we were still kids. To my surprise, we had a lot in common given that we were so far away from each other - like, hundreds to a thousand kilometer/s away. The genre of the shows we watched widely varies and includes cartoon, stop motion, anime, live action, and some others I can't identify.

In this episode, I'll be presenting you two genres which are the live shows (the remaining ones) and the one set of stop motion shows. Here they are:

Power Rangers

Power Rangers is a live show featuring 5 ordinary humans that morph into uniformed saviors each having unique styles, ability, and color. The show is focused on the team's missions to defeat the daily spawns of antagonists who intend to colonize planet Earth. Every episode frequently climaxes with the battle of a large monster spawned by the antagonists and a large robot that the Power Rangers assembled using their rides. Power Rangers first launched in 1993. Due to its popularity, Power Rangers still runs up to now. Each of its series is unique in theme, examples of which are mystical (Mystic Force), wild (Wild Force), jungle (Jungle Fury), police (SPD), samurai, and many more.

iCarly

iCarly is a sitcom featuring a teenager Carly and his best friends Sam and Freddie. Carly is a host of a web show called iCarly. Carly and her best friends help each other to deal with their teenage lives as well as the show's fame. Their fame originated from a school talent show where Carly and Sam acted funny. Having seen this, Freddie - a tech savvy, recorded them and then secretly posted the video online. Watchers loved the relationship between Sam and Carly. Soon enough, the three realized that they were already internationally famous.

Jojo's Circus

Jojo's Circus is a stop motion show set on a circus tent and features Jojo - a pupil of the circus tent's school, and her pet lion named Goliath. The show's plot is focused on Jojo's learning to become a professional and well-virtued circus clown as well her encounters with the challenges that come along the way. At the near end of each episode, the show sets into a stage where Jojo is asked about what she had learned during the day.

Jojo

Pingu

Pingu is a stop motion (clay) show featuring Pingu - a penguin, his family, and its seal best friend whom it daily interacts with. The show is set in Antarctica where his family lives inside an Igloo. All of the characters are anthropomorphic which means that they have human characteristics. The show is mainly focused on Pingu's interactions with everyone, most commonly with its sister penguin and its seal best friend whom he gets in trouble with. This show has been widely acclaimed due to its use of penguin language which are usually babbling or muttering - the most widely known of which is Pingu's honking sound: "Nug! Nug!".

Pingu

Shaun the Sheep

Shaun the Sheep is another stop motion show featuring Shaun - a sheep, Bitzer - a sheepdog, and a whole flock of sheep where Shaun belongs. Shaun the Sheep is set in an ordinary day at a farm where sheep are gathered having their daily lives. This ordinary day would suddenly become problematic because of the behaviors of other sheep (especially the black sheep). As the leader of the flock, Shaun would rashly try to solve these problems. Shaun oftentimes gets the problem solved with the help of Bitzer. Being responsible of the whole flock, the two would try to avoid worsening the situations so the the farm owner would not know.
