Dear friends of steemit, thank you for being present on my blog and accompanying with the reading of my post. In the locality of Ituzaingo in the flow of the Paraná river emerges a set of islands called Apipe in the original language means lomadas, this set of islands are formed by the atoll "Apipe grande, Apipe chico, San Martin, Los Patos" to this "Archipelago" is known as the "islands of Ituzaingo"

In my province everything has a history and these islands will not be the exception, browsing the web I cross with this beautiful legend, speaks of how the Guaranies formed with their hands this set of islands, a beautiful story that begins like this.

In the land without evil, to the side of the river Paraná settled the Guaraní natives, creating a village where lived a cacique with its son called Itaete. In those times they were stormy moments, there were many disputes for the lands and these particular lands were very coveted, reason why they were constantly fighting bloody battles to defend their lands.

Itaete was a boy who was not interested in the war, was against the violence and the bloody conflicts, so that throughout the day he went to the banks of the Parana River enjoying its beautiful landscape.

Every morning he got up very early before sunrise to appreciate his departure and his beautiful golden color in contrast to the reddish purple sky, an imposing exhibition that seems to tinge lilac the waters of the leafy Parana, a beautiful sight of A postcard that are obtained in the trips.

One morning, very enthusiastic with the bright dawn, he paid no attention more miles than he usually did when he met a beautiful place, one of the seven points of the Parana River, where a large timber tree emerged.

From that day on he became his favorite place to visit, every morning before the sun came up he was present in the place and sat placidly under the thimble to wait for the sunrise, one morning while speaking he discovered only that the Timbo tree could hear and speak, great was his surprise when the timbo answered a question that Itaete did on the air, listening to his words stayed for a few minutes immobilized without being able to believe his discovery, from that day they became friends Inseparable.

Every day that passed, the friendship between Itaete and the Timbo tree increased, the boy commented on his most precious yearnings, discover new lands for his people and give him the tranquility that his father so much wanted.

The days, months and years passed, hundreds of talks and confessions were between the talkative tree and the young Itaete who stopped being a child and became an elegant young man, upon seeing this development, the cacique decided that it was time to teach strategies Of wars and policies to manage his reign.

Before the proposal of his father and his insistence to turn him into a warrior, there was a great discussion that ended with the departure of Itaete from his town.

At nightfall, taking advantage of a great storm, itaete left home to avoid further discussions with his father and avoid deteriorating the relationship, with much regret he left behind his village that saw him born, slowly but surely pausing way to The tip of the Parana River to bid farewell to his great friend Timbo, the talkative tree.

I come to say goodbye dear friend! You know what I've been through with my father before I threw out the relationship, I'd rather step aside and leave, said the young man.

It will not be for long! Trust me. The Timbo said.

After hearing these words, Itaete took his wooden canoe and entered the Parana River, the dangerous waters of the river carrying the wooden canoe at his mercy, he traveled down the river for 24 hours, until he reached a sandbank that emerged from The leafy waters of the river.

This projection attracted the attention of the young man, it was his inspiration, this would be his promised land, disembarkation of his canoe and settled in the small atoll, looked around and thought that this could be the solution for his people, after much thinking how Do to enlarge the small island had a great idea.

He began to cut and gather all that straw plant that existed on the small island, then transplanted them on the shores of the small atoll, but the water currents carried them away, disillusioned he sat down to think, if he only had a few logs to make a Barricaded and stopped the river currents, looked around and only saw water, water everywhere, after a long time looked up and saw some floating sticks descending, could not believe his good luck, took all the branches Who descended by the river and formed a great barricade, returned to plant the plants of straws that now if they remained in its place.

With this technique I slowly formed the groups of islands, I worked many months day and nights to form these groups of lands, the golden sun and the reddish lilac sky witnessed this great sacrifice, the sticks I planted sprouted on each islands, formed Beautiful trees of timbo, that to Itapete's surprise these also could speak, thanks to that it was possible to find out that his friend tree of timbo, to receive telepticamente his necessity of wood slowly dropped its branches to the river, the branches that took the young Indian To build their islands, that's how these old friends met again.

When the islands formed the young Itaete returned to his village to look for his father and all his people, they were the first inhabitants of this island group, the "Apipe islands" which in their language were called Lomadas better known as the " Ituzaingo Islands ".

This is the legend of the birth of the Insula de las Lomolas, a paradisiacal place of my native province, a unique postcard that can only be seen here, a beautiful print of the old thump that came to the side of the Parana River, caressed by the reflections Of the golden sun in contrast of the beautiful violet sky reddish those beautiful colors that stain the waters of the Paraná River.
