China has pizza, but their toppings are super weird. You've got things like dragonfruit, corn, squid, etc. that is put on a variety of pizzas. I decided to check out a place in my city that made pizza, but more for the Western palate.

This place is called The Bakery Inn. They serve an assortment of bread as well as Western style dishes like pizza and spaghetti.

Lillian and I ordered a pizza with beef on it and it was actually really good. Very greasy, but really good.

The dough was quite thin which I didn't mind because I like to appreciate the toppings, sauce and cheese as opposed to tasting nothing but dough. I have seen some pizzas that don't even have cheese on them because Chinese people don't like cheese that much and you pay a premium for it over here. China is definitely not a place for someone that loves to eat cheese regularly. You'll drain your wallet trying to pay for it and you'll need to find one of those upscale import markets to actually find them.

We also ordered spaghetti as well. I liked that too.

To be honest, I am not a very picky eater. I usually like most food that I eat. I feel like people criticize food so much just to feel like they have an opinion but most people should just stfu. The same is true for movies as well. You'll be amazed how good a movie is if you can just stfu and enjoy it as opposed to trying to be a critic.

This pumpkin soup was also really good. Super buttery.

I forget how much this all cost. Probably around $30~$40. Just remember that you will pay a premium for authentic foreign food in China. They have "Western-style" buffets that are as authentic as the Chinese food in Panda Express but the food isn't as expensive as the real-deal. Once you are in a restaurant that actually has to cook authentic food, expect to pay upwards of 50% more for a meal.
