In this DTube Exclusive, I show you a really good salad and soup buffet that I found whilst travelling in Beijing. Salads are pretty hard to find in China to be honest. Most Chinese food is cooked and if you are a bit of a health nut like I am, you will sometimes crave a huge salad of raw vegetables and no cooked oil.

This place is called SoLounge and it located in an upscale shopping center known as Solana. The address of this shopping center is:

The buffet, at the time I went, cost my 169 RMB, which is about $26.69 USD. I think it is worth it just because these kinds of places are so hard to find. In my opinion, Chinese food, isn't that healthy. Don't get me wrong, there are some healthy dishes, but I find that a lot of Chinese food uses a lot of cooking oil and can be salty as well. Eating a salad like, as shown in the video, is something my body doesn't consume regularly in China. It was fresh, organic and doesn't include all kinds of crazy ingredients.

I was definitely in the mood for fresh salads and soups, so I pigged out at this place and left feeling awesome!
